Strengthen my hands for a good fight: give me the victory that overcometh the world. Grant unto me an earnest of thy promise: a foretaste of the blessedness of the land which Thou hast in store, Where thy saints shall rest from their labours: and their tabernacles of flesh shall be turned into buildings of glory everlasting. Sound the trumpet in Zion: mine ear taketh delight in the sound of its voice. Lift up thy banner, O mighty in battle: mine eye rejoiceth to behold its wavings. O Christ help me this day: Thou art the Captain of my salvation. CHEIST THE INTERCESSOR. Lord Thou hast driven away the darkness: Thou hast discomfited and clean scattered the host of night.
