About the Artist
Mike Rowland is a British composer and artist who touches and inspires people all over the world with his relaxation music. His sensitivity and musical talent in combination with his involvement in his audience and nature results in unique piano compositions. Mike begins composing music as a young adult, having learned the piano as a boy. When he is a little older, he travels a lot and learns to listen; not so much to different types of music but to the sounds of nature. His musical career begins with a stroll through a forest in Stanstead, in the early eighties.

While he is walking, he suddenly hears, out of nowhere, beautiful almost unworldly music. This experience affects him profoundly. Back at home he plays the music he has heard in the forest and that still lingers in his head, on the piano and records it with a microphone and a simple cassette player.
