Awakenings (CD)
Awakenings has seven tracks, each one dedicated to each of the Chakra energy points. The pieces are each seven minutes long, featuring a gentle low tone, with flutes and piano subtly filling in melodies. The base tone is a didgeridoo....but don't let that put you off. It is quite amazing how well the wonderful low end of this instrument can send waves throughout your body. There is a mesmeric quality to this recording that without doubt enhances a "lift" in conciousness.
I worked on this album with Dr John Pirie, who was working in sound and colour therapy at the time. A wonderful album for masseurs or for anytime that you wish to enter a meditative state.
I heartily recommend this album for deep relaxation.
