Matty James is one of Queensland’s most distinctive musical characters. For this, his fourth solo album, Matty worked with close friend and producer Matt Aitchison (formerly of OKA), to produce over an hour of great music. It is a real collaboration of the pair’s musical styles, mixing lush instrumentation with electronic programming, ranging from chilled-out organic grooves through to world-beat dance numbers. Simultaneously using the deep vibrations of didgeridoos with rhythmic percussion, soulful guitar, flutes and vocals, Matty’s rich tribal grooves will move your body and your soul.
