Over the past 50 years, the author heard some of the most outlandish theological statements made by lay people and theologians. Seeing that more and more people live busy lives and are therefore vulnerable to accepting what they are told by authority figures as being true, he wanted to give people the analytical tools to find things out for themselves using the Bible. It is not necessary to go to seminary to understand the Bible, he says and this book is written so that people from all walks of life and social strata will understand how to study the Bible.

Reviews of How to Study the Bible:
This short and to the point book, How to Study the Bible by Brother Cysa Dime, is very logical, yet easy to follow. There is no hocus pocus involved. it reminds me of the style of C. S. Lewis. The author contends that the Bible was written to ordinary people and can be understood by them. There are many examples of what to do and what not to do in study. There are also many humorous real world examples that will make you laugh at any shortcomings you may have and motivate you to overcome them.
