Susie Nelson-Smith

Susie is based in Sydney Australia where she has a successful teaching and healing practice. Susie has a degree in English Literature and a post graduate degree in Communication Management. She is a member of The Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and The Energetic Healing Association (EHA) The Australian Reiki Connection Inc. (ARC) and The Healing Music Association. She has studied and practised Natural and Vibrational Therapies since 1971 and has been a Justice of the Peace for 18 years.
Susie studied Reiki in Sydney and Hawaii and in 1994 was initiated by Conye Schlader into the vibration of Reiki Teacher on the island of Kauai. She started teaching immediately. All levels of Reiki training are taught - Reiki 1, 2 and Teacher/Master.
She studied Crystal Healing over a 2 year period with Katrina Raphaell in Hawaii and graduated as a Teacher from the Crystal Academy of Advanced Healing Arts in 1995. Susie has been teaching ever since. In 2004, she expanded the Crystal Therapy course to a 12 month Crystal Vibrational Therapy (CVT) professional program of training and study (EHA accredited).
Susie first studied meditation in 1983. Meditation, in different forms - Transcendental (TM), Raja Yoga (Brahma Kumaris), Flower of Life and Lifting the Veil with Gita Bellin, has been integrated into all of her teaching and therapeutic practices and is an integral part of her personal life, teaching and healing work.
Trained and qualified in Aromatherapy, Swedish and Remedial Massage and Reflexology, Susie integrates Wholistic and Spiritual Counselling, Meditation and Stress Management techniques, Colour Therapy, Visionary Enhancement work and Relationship Support with her full range of healing modalities. This unique blend of Vibrational Healing techniques allows her to assist and support the individual needs of her clients.
Her love and interest in music and healing led her to initially study Quartz Crystal 'Singing' Bowl Sound Therapy in Sicily, Italy with Awahoshi Kavan in 1998. Over the years Susie has integrated the amazing transforming sounds of the crystal bowls into all of her other healing work as the pure tone of crystal supports vibrational therapy in all its forms.
Susie has offered Crystal Sound Healing Retreats in the Blue Mountains just outside Sydney and in Queensland at Mount Tamborine. Crystal Sound Retreats will be offered each year at beautiful retreat centres. These weekends are so transforming as the magic of Crystal Music and the celestial sounds of the crystal bowls are experienced in total relaxation and peace.
Susie teaches a professional training and study program in Crystal Sound Therapy (EHA accredited) and a special interest workshop with crystal bowls called "Transforming with Crystal Sound". She travels in Australia and overseas with her Travelling Troubadour Tours and presents a series of unique healing concerts that have special themes, such as - "Uplifting the heart" and "Soul Connection".
Susie is often invited to conduct workshops and to practice in different countries. She has taught workshops, performed concerts and practiced in USA, Italy, Indonesia and New Caledonia and combines her love of travel with her passion for teaching Vibrational Therapies and performing Crystal Music. Her greatest joy is found in assisting people to expand and realise their own unique abilities, insight and connection to Spirit.
