By the time I came to pen The Ancient Ones, Samuel had reached the greatest heights and fallen again. There was no point doing the same all over again, so I attacked it from another angle. The greatest of magicians fill this story, and there was also no point writing from the point of view of someone omnipotent, as what mystery would be left for the reader? Therefore I tackled the story from the perspective of one of Samuel?s companions.

The story tries to achieve less and does more, slowly unravelling the mysteries of their world, and coming to the final apex of the story.

I did leave a few teasers for for another story, should one ever be in demand, but otherwise I think it was all wrapped up very nicely. Have a read ? let me know what you think.
