When I was in the 9th grade I got hooked on the Sherlock Holmes stories, and ended up reading so many of them that my English teacher, Miss Wood, started calling me 'Sherlock.' I had my heart set on being a writer even back then, and I decided that some day I would create a detective character that Sherlock Holmes would be proud of!
