ADELAIDE DONNELLEY lives in Berkeley, California, near her two sons. She has worked as a psychologist, photographer, and write and has recently completed work on Boundary Water, a memoir. She and Ani have spent time together both in India and the United States, collaborating on the book.

Laurie Anderson is one of the seminal artists of our time. Her work in performance, film, music, installation, writing, photography and sculpture has influenced a generation. Over the past 30 years, she has published six books, produced videos, films, radio pieces and scored dance and film. Most recently, she worked with the team that created the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, and as the first-ever artist-in-residence at NASA. Robert Thurman is the author of the critically acclaimed, popular original books "Inner Revolution" and "Infinite Life" and a translator of sacred Tibetan texts, including "The Essence of True Eloquence" and "The Tibetan Book of the Dead." He teaches at Columbia University and holds the first endowed chair in Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies in America. Cofounder of Tibet House US and Menla Mountain Retreat Center, he lives in New York City and Woodstock, New York.
