Teresa Abney was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a middle child of six, she spent countless hours reading and seeking truth and meaning. Her favorite biblical characters are Job and Ecclesiastes, as she believes most people relate to each of them at some point during their lives. Through divorce, the death of loved ones, moving across the country and back, and other losses, she has known the pain and uncertainty of starting over more than once. After pursuing success and enjoyment through family, career, owning a business, academic pursuits, health and fitness, music, hobbies, and others, she has experienced the emptiness that comes with the realization that none of these things provide the sense of significance and meaning that her soul yearns for. She came to believe that the search for The Point of It All is a spiritual issue, and can only be found in a spiritual realm.
