Windows Workflow Foundation is an important new set of tools from Microsoft introduced in version 3.0 of .NET and expanded in version 3.5. While workflow simplifies the development of some of the largest and most complex enterprise applications, it is still a new concept and difficult to learn. While there have been several more advanced books published on WF, this is one of the first introductory tutorials, and should be the first on version 3.5. Following the tried and true Teach Yourself format, this book takes the complicated topic and breaks it down into digestible smaller lessons, covering the most common and important aspects of WF, and illustrated with practical, real-world examples. As the use of WF spreads throughout the Microsoft developer community, more and more programmers will need to learn it, and this book will be the first place many of them will go to.
