The perfect way to start (or end!) the day is with a good set of stretches. It can help to loosen up tight joints, release tension and increase flexibility to avoid pulling muscles. Certified fitness trainer Madeleine Lewis presents two workouts that can be used for getting a good stretch in, both during day and later at night. The moves here have some basis in yoga, though this is not a yoga routine. Most involve twisting the torso, stretching the limbs, bends and extensions.
It's a low impact set, so people of all levels of fitness should be able to do comfortably and at their own pace. Lewis does a good job of explaining the moves, and the cinematography is adequate for seeing her moves from the correct angle. The production values are stunning - Lewis is framed against mountain and stream backdrops for the workouts respectively, which adds to the soothing nature of the video.
