Do you enjoy reading books filled with true and dangerous adventures? Love stories that excite the imagination? Fencing with Danger is a fast-moving, non-fiction narrative. This book is the actual story of Pavel Lubovas life, starting right after he leaves the Russian army. The late 1980s and early 1990s were dangerous times in the Soviet Union., especially for young Russians determined to expose and criticize the communist government. Deeply disturbed by what was going on in the country, Pavel was bitter and determined to expose the suppression of individual rights and especially the truth about the writers and poets held in labor camps. This led Pavel into numerous beatings and confrontations with the KGB. He met a beautiful Russian girl soon after he graduated from the University of Lipetsk. Their love story is exciting and true. Later, Natasha was kidnaped and held at gunpoint by the mafia. She escaped and then hid out in an Ashram in India. Pavel was finally able to get political asylum in the United States. Later, Natasha found a way to join him.
