Shamen are healers, mediators and meditators - people whose knowledge and access to the spiritual world are used to impact the physical world. Shamanic therapist Lynne Sibley offers this program as a means of learning and growing through meditation and shamanic rituals. Sibley begins with a discussion about tools and techniques used in shamanic practice, like drums and smudge sticks. Next, she guides you in finding a special, sacred space within which to work. Meditations are provided for each of the four compass directions, helping you to focus on what they represent and answer questions that correspond to the directions. You are then encouraged to go out and practice within nature. Sibley speaks softly and clearly, and allows periods of quiet for you to contemplate in between meditations. Includes Native American-themed music from Niall.
