About the Author
Andrea Leigh Rogers, the creator and founder of Xtend Barre, has enjoyed an extensive career as a professional dancer and choreographer. She?s shared the stage with numerous celebrities and recording artists and traveled the country as a principal dancer for the Walt Disney World Co. In 2006, Andrea created Xtend Barre, a blend of traditional Pilates methods and ballet basics that sculpts lean, strong, dancer-like physiques. A gifted teacher, Andrea fosters a positive attitude toward physical well-being and helps people of all fitness levels achieve a reflection they love.
Since its inception, the Xtend Barre workout has been sought after by national spa and fitness centers and Pilates devotees from the U.S., Brazil, Australia, and Canada. Now launching franchise programs around the country, Andrea has made appearances on ABC News, CNN, and several local TV stations, and has been featured in Fitness, Shape, Pilates Style, Elle, and Glamour magazines.
